Up news: A tough campaign has been launched against criminals in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The impact of CM Yogi’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy is clearly visible. Now land has been done for criminals in the state. Under the Mission Shakti Phase-5, the government launched 10 major campaigns in the entire state named ‘Dus Ke Dum’, which aims to ensure the safety of women, children and common people.

These campaigns included Operation Trinetra, Majnu, Eagle, Garuda, childhood, search, defense, shield, destray and drug addiction. So far, legal action has been taken against more than one lakh criminals through these campaigns. At the same time, 227 notorious criminals were killed in the encounters.

Criminals caught from the eyes of cameras

DGP Prashant Kumar informed that more than 11 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed in the entire state under Operation Trinetra. This has made immediate action on the incidents of crime. 5,718 serious cases like robbery, robbery and murder were revealed.

Majnu and Eagle curls

Action was taken against 58,624 people under Operation Majnu against women and girls. This special campaign was launched in schools and colleges and crowded areas. At the same time, 7,963 criminals who were already released from jail were monitored through Operation Eagle, out of which 2,683 were caught again.

Campaign for children

Operation was done on child labor, begging and cases of missing children through childhood and search. 2,860 children were rescued, while 3,327 missing children were discovered and taken home.

Drug addiction and cyber crime also tighten screws

Under the operation drug addiction, 4,750 drugs were identified and action was taken on more than 33 thousand people. At the same time, work was done to curb cyber crimes related to women through Operation Garuda.

Public got security confidence
Ever since the Yogi government has given priority to law and order in the state, there has been a huge decline in crime. The UP Police has created awe among the criminals by constantly strict action and technology. Campaigns like ‘Dus Ke Dum’ have increased the trust of security in the public and the back of criminals has been broken.

Since becoming CM in the year 2017, Yogi Adityanath took a tough stand against crime and criminals. Issues like police reform, monitoring of police stations and women safety were given priority. Thousands of criminals have been punished so far under Mission Shakti and Operation Clean. This is the reason that UP is now being counted among the leading states of the country in the matter of law and order.
