Upasana made her debut in 1986 as a child artist with Rajshree Productions film ‘Babul’. However, she got her real identity from the Rajasthani film ‘Bai Chali Sasarree’ in the year 1988, which was one of the most successful Rajasthani films of that era.
The film ran in theaters for 100 days and took the acting talent of Upasana to new heights. After this, he left his mark in Punjabi, Gujarati, Bhojpuri and Hindi cinema.

Upasana has worked in more than 70 Hindi films and more than 40 Bhojpuri films as well as Punjabi, Gujarati and Rajasthani cinema. His younger but influential characters in films like ‘Loafer’, ‘Hungama’, ‘Hustle’, ‘Othraj’ and ‘Judwaa 2’ attracted the attention of the audience.

The personal life of worship was also in the headlines. In 2009, he married TV actor Neeraj Bhardwaj, with whom he worked in the serial ‘Ae-Dil-e-Nadan’. However, both were separated from each other with filing of divorce applications. According to reports, Upasana has returned to her husband. He has a son, which he has named Nanak Singh.
