Upcoming south films sequals: In the last few years, the dominance of South Film Industry has increased at the box office. Many South films are earning more than Bollywood. From Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ to Prabhas’s ‘Salar’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ entertained the audience a lot. This is the reason that now fans are waiting for the sequel of many South films.
For South Cinema Lovers, there are more than one South South Film Lineups. While prequals had earned a record breaking, their upcoming sequels are also going to do stormy collection at the box office. This list includes the names from ‘Pushpa 3’, ‘Salar 2’, ‘Devara-Part 2’ to ‘Kalki 2898 AD2’.
Salar 2- Shauryang Parvam
Prabhas’s film Salar- The Ceasefire received a tremendous response from the audience. Since then, fans are waiting for the sequel of this film of Prabhas. The makers announced ‘Salar 2-Shauryang Parvam’ in Salar’s post credit scene. This film can be released in the year 2026, in which Prithviraj Sukumaran will once again be seen with Prabhas.
Kalki 2898 AD2
Along with ‘Salar 2- Shauryang Parvam’, Prabhas’s fans are also waiting for ‘Kalki 2898 AD2’. The historic-Drama film, released in 2024, created history by earning 646.31 crores in India and worldwide 1042.25 crores. After which the makers announced the ‘Kalki 2898 AD 2’.
Pushpa 3- The Rampage
Allu Arjun’s blockbuster film ‘Pushpa- The Rise’ was released in the year 2021 and broke several records with Dhansu Collection. In 2024, the second part of the film ‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’ was released and it was also enthralled. The makers have already announced ‘Pushpa 3- The Rampage’. The film can knock in theaters in 2028.
Devra-Part 2
Junior NTR’s film ‘Devara- Part 1’ was one of the most awaited films of 2024. Jahnavi Kapoor made South debut with this film. Although the film could not do anything special at the box office, despite this, the makers have announced ‘Devra-Part 2’.
Jai Hanuman
Director Prashant Verma’s film ‘Hanu-Man’ proved to be a blockbuster. After which the direction announced the sequel to the film. While Teja was in the lead role in ‘Hanu-Man’, Rishabh Shetty will play the lead role in its sequel ‘Jai Hanuman’.
