UPPSC RO-ARO: UPPSC RO-ARO typing exam will start from 16th February, download admit card like this

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has started the next phase under Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Recruitment 2023. The Commission has announced the date of Hindi Typing Test for the post of Assistant Review Officer and reminder admit cards have also been issued. Through this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 411 posts. The candidates who had successfully passed the first stage examination will now be required to appear in the typing test.

According to the schedule released by the Commission, Hindi typing test will be conducted from 16 February 2026 to 19 February 2026. This examination will be completely computer based. The examination will be conducted in two shifts every day. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am while the second shift will run from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates will have to reach the examination center only after seeing their shift time in the admit card.

Rules related to examination center

This typing test will be conducted at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aliganj, Lucknow. The Commission has given clear instructions that the gate of the examination center will be opened about 1 hour 30 minutes before the start of the examination. The entry will be closed 45 minutes before the start of the examination. In such a situation, it will be necessary for the candidates to reach the examination center before time, so that they do not have to face any problem.

In the typing test, candidates will have to type in Hindi. The Commission has allowed two fonts for this examination. The first font is Kruti Dev 010, which is considered quite popular for traditional Hindi typing. The second font is Mangal Inscript, which is a Unicode based typing system. Candidates can select any font as per their convenience and preparation. Both fonts will be valid in the examination.

What is necessary to take with you to the exam

It will be mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the examination to carry the print copy of the admit card with them. Apart from this, candidates will also have to carry two passport size photographs and a valid identity card. Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License or other government identity cards will be accepted as identity proof. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

How to download admit card

  • First of all candidates should visit the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in.
  • Click on the link related to admit card on the homepage of the website.
  • After this select RO/ARO Typing Test Admit Card link.
  • Now candidates enter their registration number and date of birth.
  • After filling all the information click on the submit button.
  • Admit card will appear on the screen, check it carefully.
  • Download the admit card and keep its print copy safely.
