Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the marks of the candidates who appeared in the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024. The candidates who had given this examination can now check their marks by visiting the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in. This is a news of great relief for lakhs of candidates who have been waiting for a long time.
Complete information related to each candidate is given in the marks list released by the Commission. This includes roll number, name of the candidate, marks obtained in the written examination, interview i.e. personality test marks and total marks. This will help the candidates to understand how they performed in which stage.
The result of the main examination was declared in November 2025
According to UPSC, the result of Civil Services Main Examination 2024 was declared in November 2025. This examination was conducted between 22 August to 31 August 2025. Thousands of candidates participated in it at different examination centers across the country. The candidates who were successful in the main examination were selected for the next stage. This stage is personality test, which is also called interview in common language.
Personality test was conducted in two phases
Personality test for the candidates who passed the main examination was conducted in December 2025 and January 2026. These interviews took place in two phases. During this, along with the knowledge of the candidates, their thinking, decision making ability and personality were assessed. Now that the marks of both written examination and interview have been released, candidates can get a clear idea of their overall performance.
