Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS-I) 2025. This is a big day for the candidates who had participated in both the written examination and SSB interview stages. The Commission has released this result in PDF file format on its official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates can check their result by visiting the website or through the instructions given below.
Who all got selected?
According to the notification issued by the Commission, this time a total of 365 candidates have secured a place in the final merit list. These candidates have been selected for admission to the 160th DE Course at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala, and Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad (Pre-Flying Training Course).
It is a proud moment for all the candidates who have successfully cleared the tough written examination and intensive SSB interview. The Commission has said that the candidates have been recommended by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Defense Ministry.

Complete details of vacancies
- There are a total of 100 seats in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), out of which 13 seats are reserved for NCC Army Wing ‘C’ certificate holders.
- The Indian Naval Academy (INA) has 32 seats, out of which 6 seats are reserved for NCC Naval Wing Certificate holders.
- There are 32 seats available in the Air Force Academy (AFA), out of which 3 seats are reserved under the NCC Air Wing Special Entry Scheme.
- Eligible candidates have been selected for all these seats on the basis of their performance in CDS exam and SSB interview conducted by UPSC.
Check your result like this
- First of all go to the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
- Click on the link “CDS I Final Result 2025” on the homepage.
- On clicking the link, a PDF file will open, which will contain the roll numbers of all the selected candidates.
- Check result by your roll number or name.
- Now candidates should take the printout and keep it safely.
