Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released UPSC Mains Result 2025. Candidates who appeared in the Civil Services Main Examination 2025 can now check their results on the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in. This year a total of 2736 candidates have been declared successful in the main examination and now they will be called for the interview round.
UPSC Mains exam was conducted in two shifts from August 22 to August 31, 2025. The first shift is from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Recruitment will be done on 979 posts through this examination.
All the candidates successful in the Main Examination will now be called for Personality Test (Interview), which will be conducted at the Head Office of the Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. Interview dates will be released soon on the website of the Commission. Candidates will have to download their E-Summon Letter from the website.

Candidates who have been declared eligible for interview will be required to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF-II) online. Candidates without submitting DAF-II will not be considered eligible for interview. UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Candidates who get success in all these stages are appointed to the posts of prestigious services of the country like IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc.

How to see the result?
To see the result, candidates will have to go to upsc.gov.in website and click on the link “Civil Services Mains Result 2025”. After this, the PDF file of the result will open, which will contain the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates. Candidates can download it and keep a print out of it for future.
