Namita Soni is a resident of Bikaner, Rajasthan. He has passed out from IIT Mumbai. This was his third attempt in UPSC. He achieved this success through continuous hard work, patience and right strategy. Namita told that during preparation she had completely distanced herself from social media. She used to look only at things related to studies on the phone and did not spend the rest of her time at all. His entire focus was on books, notes and test series. This did not distract her attention and she was able to study well.
Namita became the ‘elder son’ of the family
Mother Manju Soni told that there are three daughters in her house and no son. It was often heard in the society that a family is incomplete due to the absence of a son, but Namita’s success has made them proud. According to Manju, Namita has proved that daughters are not less than sons in any matter. They can do greater work than sons.
How did Namita deal with depression?
Namita tells that sometimes she felt sad during preparation. In such a situation, she used to listen to motivational songs to stay away from depression. She used to think positive and keep motivating herself. She also lightened her mood by talking to family and friends. She gives full credit for her success to her family. Especially his grandmother always encouraged him. Grandmother used to say that her daughter will do something big.

Namita’s father does jewelery business. He always supported his daughters to progress in studies. He said that he always believed that his daughters would do some great work. Today Namita has fulfilled his dream. He is very happy and feeling proud of his daughter.
