When Anju Sharma failed in 10th and 12th
Born in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Anju Sharma started very simple. She was not as good in schooling. She failed in the pre-board of 10th and failed in Economics even in 12th. In such a situation, anyone could think that their future is bleak. But Anju made these failures a means of learning, not his weakness.

New identity found in graduation
Instead of giving up, Anju Sharma recognized his shortcomings and started working hard. He graduated in BSc (Science) and won the gold medal. After this, he also completed MBA and decided that now you have to prepare for UPSC.

UPSC clear in the first attempt
In 1991, when Anju was only 22 years old, he passed the Civil Services Examination of UPSC in the first time and became IAS officer. He proved that failure never hinders the path of success – provided you are not ready to give up.
Gujarat cadre officer became
After becoming IAS, Anju Sharma’s first posting took place as Assistant Collector in Rajkot, Gujarat. After this, he worked in high positions like Collector, Secretary, Principal Secretary in many districts of Gujarat including Gandhinagar. Today he is working as Additional Chief Secretary.
