The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the biggest recruitment in the Home Guard Department to further strengthen the state’s security system and disaster management. In this recruitment campaign started under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, more than 44 thousand posts will be appointed. This is not just a recruitment process, but the security system of the state is being considered a new direction.
The main objective of this campaign is to increase the number of security forces in the state and to improve the ability to deal with emergency situations. The recruitment process has been designed in such a way that this will give eligible and competent candidates an opportunity to come forward. The special thing is that this recruitment will be started before the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections, so that the security system is completely tight during the election.
Not only young men, big posts will also be included
In this recruitment campaign, not only Home Guard soldiers, but also will be recruited in high positions. According to the information, in addition to 43,327 home guards, qualified candidates will also be given a chance for 2314 platoon commanders, 783 company commanders and 770 subsidiary commanders. This will also strengthen the leadership capacity and management of the organization.
New recruitment board will select
Till now, the Home Guard recruitment was at the board level, on which questions were raised about transparency. The government has taken a big step to overcome this. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to form separate recruitment boards and prepare new rules in the recent review meeting. This will make the recruitment process more fair and transparent, and all candidates will get an opportunity to equal.
Written examination and disaster management experience
The selection of candidates in the recruitment will be on the basis of written examination. Candidates who get good marks in the exam will get priority. Apart from this, candidates who have experience or training related to disaster management will also be given special preference. The aim of this is that the organization can not only security but also with the circumstances of natural disasters and other crisis.
Qualification and educational criteria
To join this recruitment, the candidate must have passed 10th or 12th from a recognized board. This will ensure that the selected candidates have basic knowledge and capacity. Also, physical fitness will also be an important standard, because the work of home guards constantly demands hard work and vigilance.
