Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has finally released the result of Preliminary Examination (PET). The long wait of lakhs of candidates ended today. The Commission has activated the result link on the official website upsssc.gov.in, where candidates can download the scorecard by entering their registration number and date of birth. Candidates can also download it by following the steps mentioned here.
This time the PET exam was conducted on 6th and 7th September at 1479 examination centers across the state. About 19 lakh candidates had participated in it, so both excitement and tension regarding the result were natural. From now on, the Commission’s portal is witnessing heavy traffic as a large number of candidates are logging into the website to check their scorecard.
How to download UP PET result?
step 1: To download the candidate scorecard, first go to the official website upsssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Then on the candidate homepage you will see the Result section, click on it.
Step 3: After this, UPSSSC PET Result 2025 link will be found here, click on it.
Step 4: Now candidates enter their registration number, date of birth and verification code.
Step 5: Then within a few seconds your result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Now candidates should not forget to take a print out of it for future reference.

After the release of PET result, the next big action of the Commission is to start recruitment for Group-C posts. Many departments have already sent requisition to UPSSSC and now advertisement for different posts will be issued soon.

Validity of scorecard will last for three years
UP PET scorecard is not just an exam result but is the basis for many upcoming recruitments. The Commission has clarified that this scorecard will remain valid for three years. That is, the candidates who have been successful in PET this time will be able to apply for any Group-C post for the coming three years, they will not need to give PET again.
