Vikram gaikwad passed away: National Film Award Winner Makeup Artist Vikram Gaikwad has passed away. He was 65 years old. Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh have mourned his death.
Aamir Khan expressed mourning
Aamir Khan wrote on Insta Story, ‘We are very sad saying goodbye to great makeup artist Vikram Gaikwad. I worked with him in films like Dangal, PK and Rang De Basanti. I had the privilege of working with him. He was the true master of the craft. He transformed many actors in not forgetting the characters who will remain alive on screen forever. Heartfelt condolences to me and all the people of Aamir Khan production. We will miss you Dada.
At the same time, Ranveer Singh shared a photo of Vikram Gaikwad and wrote- Dada. With this, Ranveer created heart break and infinity emoji.
Please tell that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed condolences on his death in a post on X. He wrote- ‘National Award winner, popular makeup artist Vikram Gaikwad passed away. We are all sad. She put her life in the characters on the screen with her makeup.
Vikram’s last rites were performed at 4.30 pm on Saturday at Shivaji Park crematorium in Dadar. Vikram started his career with the film Sardar. He acted in films like Uri, Dangal, PK, Omkara, Delhi-6, Kaminey, Ishqiya and 3 Idiots. Vikram is also known for his work in Marathi cinema. He worked in films like historical film Lokmanya, Fatteshikast and Sher Shivraj. He also received the National Award in 20212 for Vidya Balan’s film The Dirty Picture. In 2014, the National Award was also received for the film Jaatishwar.
