Is Urinating In The Shower A Health Problem: We avoid the problem of passing urine while bathing by considering it as normal. Spiritual guru Premanand Maharaj ji explained in detail about this. He said that this problem does not happen just like that, there are reasons behind it. He says that as soon as a person starts bathing, the body goes into a relaxing mode. When the body relaxes, the process of releasing pressure begins. Sometimes it appears in the form of urine, sometimes in the form of fatigue and sometimes in the form of stress. According to him, bathing is not just a process of cleaning the body, but it also involves body, mind and consciousness. The touch of water and the comfort it provides can activate this response.

Let us tell you what science and doctors say about this. Is this habit normal or is there any serious warning regarding your health, which you should pay attention to?

Does it cause any disease?

Urinating while bathing may seem normal to many people, but medical experts are advising to be careful about it. Recently a video went viral on social media, after which the discussion regarding this habit intensified. Doctors say that especially for women, urinating while standing in the shower can be harmful in the long run.

What do experts say?

According to medical experts, the sound of running water can connect the brain with urine. Doing this repeatedly can cause the bladder to become conditioned with that sound, which may increase the sudden urge to urinate or the problem of leakage. OB-GYN Dr. Emma Qureshi warns that this habit can weaken the pelvic floor muscles, because urinating while standing is not the body’s natural position. Therefore, for better urinary health, it is considered more appropriate to urinate while sitting. For men too, especially as they get older, urinating while sitting can help empty the bladder more easily. Even from hygiene point of view, this habit is not considered completely safe. If the bathroom is shared, bacteria can remain on the surface.

According to a report by New York Post, experts recommend that for better urinary health, urinate while sitting, do pelvic floor exercises like Kegels and consult a doctor if there is frequent urgency or leakage. A small convenience can become a big problem in the future, so caution is necessary.
