Us-Russia meeting in Saudi Arabia: A long meeting between the United States and Russia officials took place in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh to end the Ukraine War and the Black controversy. Russian delegation member and senior diplomat Grigory Karasin has described the talks in Riyadh as well as ‘creative’ as well as ‘technical’. Karasin told the media during the break in the conversation, “All meetings do not have high-profile documents or compromises, the important objective in the meeting is to maintain the dialogue between the parties concerned and each other’s position should be understood in depth and we are succeeding in this regard.”

The meeting between the US and Russia officials continued for more than 12 hours in Riyadh. The agreement is popularly known as the ‘Grain Deal’, which was originally mediated by the United Nations and Turkey.
However, when West cited a failure to fulfill its share in the agreement, Russia completely separated itself from the agreement in July 2023.
