A shocking incident in the US capital Washington DC has launched a debate on politics and social system. President Donald Trump and Allen Musk confirmed on Tuesday (5 August 2025) that a member of the DOGE team was looted and assaulted. According to viral pictures and reports on social media, the victim is ‘Big Balls’ aka Edward Corristine.
The incident took place when a woman was sitting alone in her car and some youths tried to attack her. Big Balls tried to save him and was seriously injured himself. As soon as the information of the incident became public, there was a wave of support and resentment on social media.

President Donald strongly condemned the incident on Truth Social and wrote that the crime in DC has become completely uncontrollable. If this continues, I will federate this city. Alan Musk has been a consultant to Trump and was also associated with the DOGE project. He reacted to the incident on X (East Twitter) and wrote that a member of the DOGE team saw the attack, rescued the woman, but was badly beaten himself. The time has come to make DC federal.
