India’s defense diplomacy and plan to balance China
India is implementing its ‘Made in India’ policy more rapidly in 2025, which increases self -sufficiency in arms manufacturing and reduces the dependence of foreign supply chains. Along with this, India is strengthening regional partnerships through military exercises, training, sales and information partnership in the Indian Ocean region and Indo-Pacific. India’s activism in Quad, ASEAN and other multilateral groups is part of this strategy, which will help reduce China’s influence and increase India’s leadership role.
