He said that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to end the ongoing war with Ukraine. He said this before an important meeting to be held in Saudi Arabia on Monday (March 24), in which officials of America, Russia will participate.
“I think he (President Vladimir Putin) wants peace.” He believes that some good results may come out of this meeting. Vitkoff has met the Russian President twice a recent weeks. Concern in Europe, Trump Putin is very confident
In Europe, concern is being expressed that Trump is very much trusting Putin. But Vistoff says that Putin really wants peace. He said, “I don’t think he wants to capture the whole of Europe. This is a very different situation compared to World War II.”
Vitkoff believes that western countries should be a little soft in understanding Putin’s intentions.
