He told me that they have been working for 120 years. Now this tariff has become the biggest threat to their business. He said that these tariffs are hurting India economically. Trump’s policies have derailed the top-level meetings of the two countries. Imposing 50% duty is a step to isolate India. The workers also expressed concern that imposing a fee of $100,000 (about Rs 83 lakh) on H-1B visa would be a blow to those Indian professionals who have given America new heights in the fields of science, technology, medicine and arts.

Worker warned that wrong policies could drive away a strategic partner like India. Countries like China and Russia will take advantage of this. He said that such decisions do not give any Nobel, but rather break the partnership.
