Israeli museum shooting: On May 21, 2025, there was a firing outside the Israeli Museum in Washington, killing two Israelis. These people used to work in the Israeli Embassy. The person who carried out this incident has been identified. The suspect has been identified as Ilyas Rodriguez, who is a resident of Chicago and is 30 years old. The police have confirmed that Ilyas did not know the officials of these embassy.
According to the New York Times report, a woman and a man were killed in Northwest’s 3 and F Street area. The incident took place near the FBI Field Office and a museum near the American Attorney Office. After the initial investigation, it is believed that the two people who died were couples.

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, in a post written to X, described this firing as a disgusting act of anti -Jewish terrorism. He further said that he is confident that American officials will take strict action against those responsible for this criminal act.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump said that the murders should stop. He wrote on Truth Social, “These terrible DC murders, which are clearly based on the anti-Jewish spirit, should now end!
