Donald Trump posted a post about this on Sunday (May 25, 2025) on his social media platform Truth Social. In this post, President Trump wrote, “Out of the total students studying in Harvard, about 31 percent of the students come from foreign countries, some of which are not good relations with America. In such a situation, the university administration is making non-cooperation in sharing the information of these foreign students, while the Trump government is repeatedly asking for this information from the university.”

Trump wrote, “Why is Harvard not telling about 31% of his students from foreign countries and some of whom are not at all favorable to America. A countries that do not do anything for the education of their students nor do they have any intention to do so. Nobody told us this.”

But this instruction was threatening the source of a big revenue from many countries of the world to study at Harvard University and the university.
