Us -ran talks on nuclear program: Negotiations are going on between the United States and Iran regarding the nuclear program. Two phases have been discussed between the two sides. During this time, both sides termed the conversation about the Tehran nuclear program as creative and said that there has been a lot of progress in the discussion. An American official confirmed that the US President’s special envoy Steve Witchoff and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi have sat face to face in Rome and interacted on the issue.
The AFP quoted an American official as saying, “The subject was directly and indirectly discussed for more than four hours during the second phase of talks in Rome, which has made very good progress.” After this, now both countries are planning to meet in Oman on Saturday (April 26) to talk on this issue.
Discussion at technical level will be held before the third phase of talks
There will be a discussion at the technical level before meeting in Oman, which would be a sign of moving towards this possible agreement. Irani Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed hope that both sides have reached a position to better understand shared principles regarding this conversation. However, the US has talked about direct and indirect discussion in it, but Iran officials said that the discussion was absolutely indirect and in it the Oman’s External Affairs Minister Badr al-Busaidi meditated.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday (April 18) after meeting with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov, “As long as Washington remains realistic, a compromise on its nuclear program with the United States is possible.”
