US China Pakistan Tariff: The country is expected to get great relief from the tariff deal signed between India and America. Where earlier the tariff fee which was considered up to 50 percent has now been reduced to 18 percent. This decision is going to have a direct impact on India’s exports and trade. US tariffs on China and Pakistan
Under America’s tariff policy, 37 percent tariff duty has been imposed on China and 19 percent on Pakistan. There has been bitterness in the relations between China and America for some time. It is clear from these rates that America’s trade policy remains strict with both countries, especially with China.
Countries with lower tariffs than India
According to the tariff policy of America, some countries have been imposed lower duty than India. 15 percent tariff has been fixed on European Union, Japan and Switzerland. Whereas the lowest duty of 10 percent has been imposed on the United Kingdom.
US tariff rates on world countries
The tariffs imposed by America on various countries have a direct impact on global trade and markets. These rates fixed for different countries make it clear how much duty America is imposing on which countries under its trade policy. America has imposed 18 percent tariff on India, while the highest tariff of 50 percent is imposed on Brazil. 37 percent tariff has been imposed on China and 30 percent tariff has been imposed on South Africa. Whereas 20-20 percent duty has been fixed on Vietnam and Bangladesh.
On the other hand, 19 percent tariff has been imposed on Malaysia, Cambodia, Pakistan and Indonesia. This rate has been kept at 15 percent on the European Union, whereas the lowest tariff of 10 percent has been imposed on the United Kingdom i.e. UK. These tariff rates affect the exports, industries and trade relations of the respective countries.
