Mangat Singh, arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan, was produced in the court after being caught from Alwar on Saturday (October 11, 2025). Intelligence agencies presented him in the CJM court and demanded three days police custody remand (PCR), which was accepted by the court.
Now the investigating agencies will be able to interrogate Mangat Singh thoroughly for three days and he will also be taken to Alwar. According to sources, Mangat Singh was in contact with handlers associated with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI for a long time. He used to send sensitive information related to India to Pakistan.
Fake name used for honey tapping
The most surprising thing is that the Pakistani numbers on which he used to send information were saved in his mobile in the names of ‘Isha Sharma’ and ‘Isha Ghosh’. Investigation has revealed that these names are fake and were probably used for honey trapping.
Special Public Prosecutor Sudesh Satyavan said that accused Mangat Singh was not only involved in espionage activities, but he had also taken money from Pakistan. Money has been transferred to his bank accounts from Pakistan several times. Preliminary investigation has also revealed that Mangat Singh has been involved in many cases of cheating people in Alwar and he is known locally as ‘Siddh Purush’ and ‘Mahatug’.
Leaked intelligence information of ‘Operation ‘Sindoor”
The special thing is that during ‘Operation ‘Sindoor’ he had sent many intelligence information to Pakistan. Apart from this, during the period surrounding the Pahalgam attack, he had also been in constant touch with the female handler and shared information. The agencies have found many important evidences from the mobile phone of the accused, which confirms his espionage network.
According to sources, Mangat Singh was on the radar of intelligence agencies for a long time and constant surveillance was being maintained against him. Now he will be presented in the court again on October 14, where further action will be decided.
