Let us tell you that after the Uttam Nagar murder case, the administration took major action on Sunday and demolished the illegal part of the house of the main accused Umardeen. This action was taken by the joint team of Delhi Municipal Corporation and Administration in the presence of heavy police force.

During the action, with the help of bulldozers and other equipment, that part of the house was demolished which the officials had termed as illegal construction. The administration carried out the entire operation amid tight security arrangements.

Encroachment removal campaign carried out under the supervision of heavy police force

After the violent incident on Holi, the administration has increased strictness in the area. When the Municipal Corporation team reached JJ Colony on Sunday for action, a large number of policemen were deployed in the area. Officials say that this action is part of the campaign being run against illegal construction. The administration has made it clear that wherever construction is found against the rules, similar strict action will be taken.

Controversy started with water balloons, Holi turned into violence

It is noteworthy that on March 4, on the day of Holi, a dispute started between two neighboring families in JJ Colony of Uttam Nagar over a trivial matter. According to the information, a water balloon thrown by a girl burst on the road and colored the clothes of a woman passing by. On this matter, a dispute started between the two families which gradually turned into a fight and then violence.

Youth injured in attack dies in hospital

During the dispute, some people attacked 26-year-old Tarun Kumar. Seriously injured Tarun was immediately taken to the hospital, but he died during treatment. After this incident, tension spread in the entire area and anger was seen among the local people.

Many accused arrested, security increased in the area

The police took prompt action in the case and arrested many accused. Among the arrested accused, Umardin (49), Jummadin (36), Kamaruddin (36), Mustaq (46), Muzaffar (25) and Tahir (18) and today Imran alias Bunty (38) have been arrested. Apart from this, a minor has also been detained.

After the incident, local people also protested demanding the arrest of the accused. At present, additional police force is deployed in the area and the police is investigating the entire matter in depth.
