The investigation into the car blast in Delhi has now reached Uttarakhand. Based on the inputs shared by Uttar Pradesh ATS, Uttarakhand Intelligence Headquarters has identified seven suspicious persons, who were in contact with the blast accused at various times. After this, the Intelligence and STF team of Uttarakhand Police has started a thorough investigation of all these suspects.
According to sources, the STF team is interrogating the seven suspects in different rounds. The investigating agencies are investigating the activities of the last six months, call detail records, location, social media and app data. These suspects are said to include people associated with a placement agency, a person associated with the medical profession and two close associates of the accused. On the instructions of the Intelligence Headquarters, a special team of STF is continuously keeping an eye on all of them.

Investigation of call records, electronic devices and app data of Delhi Blast main accused and suicide bomber Dr. Omar Un Nabi along with arrested accused Aamir Rashid Ali, Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, Dr. Adil Rather and Dr. Shaheen Shahid has given many important clues. On the basis of these clues, the investigating agencies got information about Uttarakhand connection.
In the incident of IED-laden car blast in Delhi blast, strings of conspiracy were found extending to Kashmir, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Now the links related to Uttarakhand are proving important in revealing the layers of this entire terrorist module. It is believed that the seven suspects who are being investigated may be connected to the network of the accused in some way or the other.
Suspects had received information
Sources say that the UP ATS team was also going to come to Uttarakhand for this investigation, but Uttarakhand Intelligence and STF had already reached the suspects. The police of both the states are continuously sharing information through the coordination desk, due to which there was no need to send UP ATS to Uttarakhand.
At the same time, Uttarakhand Intelligence has refused to say anything officially in this matter. However, officials say that they are in constant touch with the NIA and all information related to the investigation is being shared.
