Uttarakhand panchayat chunav: The ban by Uttarakhand High Court on the three -tier panchayat elections in Uttarakhand will remain intact. Now in this case, the High Court will hear in other related matters including stay vacation on Wednesday. Today, the government maintained the matter before the bench of the Chief Justice. The Dapith has given afternoon time for hearing in the case tomorrow. All the petitions in the case will be heard on Wednesday i.e. Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand State Election Commission has taken a big decision regarding the three -tier panchayat elections.

Amid the continuation of the three -tier panchayat elections on behalf of the Uttarakhand High Court, the State Election Commission postponed the nomination and further proceedings of the panchayat elections to be held in the state till the advance order of the court. Let us tell you that Election Commissioner Sushil Kumar had announced a detailed program regarding panchayat elections.

This was the election schedule
According to the election program, on June 23, the District Election Officer detailed notification was announced. Information was given to file nomination papers from 25 June to 28 June and complete the process of checking nomination papers from 29 June to 1 July. While on July 2, the last date for withdrawal of nomination was set.

Election process postponed after court order
The future of Uttarakhand Panchayat elections is now dependent on the hearing in the Uttarakhand High Court on Wednesday. Please tell that the High Court has banned the three -tier panchayat elections in Uttarakhand. The court ordered this order if the process of reservation in the election is not clear and has ordered the state government to file an answer on the matter. After this order of the court, the process of three -tier elections in 12 districts of the state has been postponed.
