There is good news for the youth looking for government jobs. Jharkhand’s Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department has issued a notification for recruitment to the post of Hospital Manager under the National Health Mission. Through this recruitment, qualified candidates will be appointed to strengthen the administrative system in the government hospitals of the state. Interested candidates can apply online till 30 March.
How many posts will be recruited
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 201 posts of Hospital Manager will be recruited. These posts have been divided into different categories. 81 posts have been fixed for General category, 20 posts for EWS, 52 posts for ST, 20 posts for SC, 16 posts for BC-I and 12 posts for BC-II. Candidates will be selected on these posts according to the reservation rules of the government.
What qualification is required?
For the post of Hospital Manager, the candidate must have a degree related to Health Management or Hospital Administration. The candidate must have a qualification like PG Diploma in Hospital Management or Healthcare Management, MBA in Hospital Administration or Master in Public Health (MPH). Apart from this, preference will be given to candidates having experience of working in hospital management or health sector.
Candidates applying for this post should have at least three years of experience in the field related to hospital administration or public health. Besides, it is also considered necessary to have basic knowledge of hospital management system, reporting and computer system, so that the administrative work in hospitals can be done in a better way.
age limit
For this recruitment, the maximum age for general and EWS category has been kept at 40 years. Whereas for OBC category candidates this limit is 42 years, while for unreserved category women the maximum age is 43 years and for SC-ST category candidates the maximum age is 45 years. Reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation as per government rules.
How much salary will I get?
Under this recruitment, the selected candidates will be given an honorarium of about Rs 41,000 every month. Since this post is under the National Health Mission, it will be on contract basis. However, through this job, candidates will get good experience of working in government hospitals and will also get a chance to make a career in the field of health administration.
