A total of 220 faculty posts will be filled under the recruitment campaign. This includes the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. For these posts, the institute has clearly released eligibility, salary and application process.
What will be the salary?
In this recruitment of SGPGIMS, candidates will be given great salary as per the Seventh Pay Commission. Selected candidates for the post of Assistant Professor will get salary ranging from Rs 1,01,500 to Rs 1,67,400 every month. This salary for Associate Professors will be from Rs 1,38,300 to Rs 2,09,200.
At the same time, additional professor will get salary ranging from Rs 1,48,200 to Rs 2,11,400. The pay scale for the highest rank i.e. Professor has been fixed from Rs 1,68,900 to Rs 2,20,400. This salary will be decided on the basis of experience and merit of the candidates.
Educational qualification
To apply for these posts, candidates must have the highest degrees of medical education. The applicant should have MD, MS or DM degrees. Apart from this, it is also mandatory for candidates to have work experience in the respective fields. Candidates will be selected only on the basis of experience and academic background.
Age limit
The maximum age limit for recruitment has been fixed at 50 years. However, SC, ST, OBC, Divyang and EWS candidates will be given age limit as per government rules.
Application fee will have to be paid so much
To complete the recruitment process, candidates have to submit the application fee. The application fee for general category is Rs 2000. At the same time, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and Divyang candidates will have to pay a fee of only Rs 1000. The fee will be paid through the demand draft (DD).
