A golden opportunity has come for the youth of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has announced a big recruitment process. This time more than 3 thousand recruitments have come out on important positions like police constable, jail guard and fireman. This can prove to be a big opportunity for the candidates who have a dream of going to police or security services for a long time.
The application process on these posts will start from 22 August 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the board’s official website tnusrb.tn.gov.in. The last date for application has been fixed on 21 September 2025. At the same time, the candidates with whom there is a mistake in the application will also get a chance to improve. The last date for correction in the application form is 25 September 2025.

Age limit
The age of the candidate applying should be at least 18 years and maximum 26 years by 1 July 2025. At the same time, candidates of reserved category will be given exemption in age as per the rules of the government.
How will the selection be?
- There will be two papers in the written examination. The first paper will have 80 questions, which will have a total of 80 marks. The second paper will be asked 70 questions, which will have a total of 70 marks. That is, the written examination will be of a total of 150 marks.
- In PMT, the height, weight and chest measurement will be checked in PMT. In PET, candidates will have to undergo race, long jump and other activities. In the end, the educational and personal documents of the candidates will be examined. Only the candidates who pass the written examination will reach the next stage.
