Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced to make national song Vande Mataram mandatory in all schools of the state. In a program in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that singing the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ will be made mandatory in all schools of the state. Former UP CM and SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav has reacted to this decision of Yogi Adityanath.

On making Vande Mataram mandatory, Akhilesh Yadav said, “We will listen to the people’s mind… Recently a child came, I wanted to give him sweets but he said he wants cake. Should I forcefully put laddus in his mouth?” Akhilesh said, “A small child who doesn’t know anything, why did we liberate the country? Because we wanted independence, so that we could have our own constitution.

‘Then why was the national anthem not made mandatory?’

Former CM Akhilesh Yadav said, “We are having this debate today, didn’t the makers of the Constitution debate at that time? That’s why they gave the national anthem and the national anthem. If it was the case that it has to be sung, then why was it not made mandatory? They left the choice.” Akhilesh Yadav said, “BJPs were asked many times that they did not know what the national anthem was. BJPs could not sing the national anthem.”

In the press conference, Akhilesh Yadav told the journalists that Aadhaar card is not being accepted in SIR, on this Akhilesh Yadav said that he will knock on the door of Supreme Court and get Aadhaar accepted. SP Chief said that farmers are still worried, fertilizer is not available anywhere. The government says fertilizers are available.

Akhilesh cornered the government on the issue of inflation

On the issue of inflation, Akhilesh Yadav said, “Think where they have brought inflation, cars are expensive, houses are expensive, gold is also expensive, BJP is collecting gold.” The SP Chief said, “If we ask the government what is the per capita income of the people receiving ration, the government is still not ready to tell.”

Government running on lies and emotions- Akhilesh Yadav

Former CM Akhilesh Yadav also accused the Bharatiya Janata Party that “this government is running on lies, it is running on emotions, it is running a government by intimidation.” He further said, “Not a single officer who oversees the elections belongs to the PDA family.”
