He has jumped from the fourth place and secured the first place directly. The Indian team already remains the world’s number-1 T20 team (India Team Ranking in T20). Varun Chakraborty became number-1
Varun Chakraborty was the first fourth place in the T20 bowlers rankings. He has secured the first place by jumping three places and his reding point is 733. Chakraborty has so far played both matches for India in the Asia Cup 2025. He took 1 wicket for just four runs in 2 overs against UAE. At the same time, against Pakistan, he took one wicket for 24 runs in 4 overs.
Top-5 Indian bowlers in T20
Varun Chakraborty is not only India but the top T20 bowler in the world. Ravi Bishnoi is second in the list of Indians, who slipped two places and moved to number eight. Akshar Patel is ranked 12th with the advantage of one place. Arshdeep Singh has suffered the loss of not playing a single match in the Asia Cup so far. He has come out of the top-10 and has come to 14th position. Kuldeep Yadav has jumped 16 places, due to which he has come at number 23 in the bowlers’ rankings.
