According to Vastu Shastra, a photo of the family must be kept in the purse, doing this is a symbol of financial and mental security. But keep in mind that the photo should be fixed and clean and not cut, because a broken photo can increase stress and expenses.
Notes and coins should be kept properly in the purse. One should not keep the notes twisted or scattered, as doing so may anger Goddess Lakshmi. When money is kept well organized, improvement in money flow is also seen.
Keeping a small gold or brass piece inside the purse is also considered auspicious. If it is kept purified with Ganga water on Thursday, then there will be permanent wealth and prosperity and there will be permanent wealth in the purse also.
One should not keep excessive papers in the purse. According to Vastu, the weight of paper or bill-receipts can affect the wealth and money flow of the purse. Therefore it is better to keep them selected and limited.
According to your zodiac sign, it is also considered auspicious to keep zodiac symbol or color related item in the purse. For example, keeping something or a color-related thing in the purse for which the planets are favorable can increase the chances of financial gain.
