Accused of violating the United Nations Charter
Venezuela has described this alleged attack as a gross violation of the United Nations Charter. According to the government, this attack is against Articles 1 and 2 of the United Nations Charter, which guarantee the sovereignty of any country, legal equality and prohibition on the use of force.
