Chhaava fake streaming link case: The police have arrested another person in the case of leaking the film ‘Chhava’ on Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj online. On this, the CEO of August Entertainment Company Rajat Rahul Huxar filed a complaint after which South Cyber Cell registered a case and started the investigation.
According to the complaint, between 14 February 2025 to 20 March 2025, unknown people made fake links of their company’s Hindi film ‘Chhava’. Through this, these people also leaked the film online.
The accused was streaming new released films
Among the fake links mentioned by the complainant, the link moviesPrime.xyz was technical analysis. This revealed that a 26 -year -old man named Vivek Snehal Dhumal was using this link. The accused is a resident of Nashik city. DCP Dutta Nalavade of Crime Branch said that during the investigation it was found that he had bought MovieSPrime.XYZ domain from Hostinger to upload the film ‘Chhava’. Apart from this, it was also found that he was streaming ‘Chhava’ and the second newly released films.
Accused arrested from Nashik
On April 11, Vivek was hit by the police in the case of leaking it online by creating a fake link of ‘Chhava’. South Cyber Police Station Police Sub -Inspector Deepak Dele and Police Constable Lahre arrested the accused from Nashik. After this, he was brought to Mumbai for further action.
‘Chhava’ is available on OTT
The film ‘Chhava’, directed by Laxman Utekar, was released in theaters on 14 February. At the box office, the film collected a collection of 600.03 crores and became India’s seventh highest grossing film. Now from April 11, ‘Chhava’ is streaming on the OTT platform Netflix.
