Social Media Viral Video: When someone fills petrol or diesel in his vehicle, he trusts that he is getting the right quantity and pure fuel, but many times this is not the case. People have to suffer losses due to small frauds happening at petrol pumps. Recently, a similar video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which a petrol pump employee himself has told how fraud at petrol pumps can be avoided. This video is going to make people aware and till now lakhs of people have watched it.

Density of petrol and diesel should always be checked

In the video, an employee standing at a petrol pump explains in detail how customers can understand that they are not being tricked while refueling. He told that by looking at the density of petrol and diesel, it can be found out how pure the fuel is and whether there is any adulteration in it.

According to the employee, the density of petrol should always be between 720 to 775, while the density of diesel is considered to be between 820 to 860. This density is always written on the screen at the petrol pump. If it is outside the range, then understand that there is something wrong with the fuel or it has been adulterated.

While filling petrol the meter should have less than 5 numbers.

The second important thing he told in the video was that when zero is shown on the meter before filling petrol, everyone pays attention, but very few people see the number after that. He told that the next number that comes after filling the petrol should be less than 5, like 2, 3 or 4. If this number starts with 10 or more, it means that the meter has been tampered and the customer is being cheated.

This video has increased awareness among people and many users shared it and wrote that now they will definitely pay attention to these two things while filling petrol.
