Iran Man Video Message: A young man from Bushehr, the southern port city of Iran, has allegedly committed suicide. Earlier, he had released a video, in which he had appealed to US President Donald Trump and Western countries not to make any compromise with the current government of Iran. This information has come out quoting the reports of opposition related media and some regional newspapers. Iran International has also reported about this.
This young man has been identified by Iranian media and social activists as Puriya Hamidi. He had recorded a video of about 10 minutes in English, which went viral on social media last weekend.
What did Puriya Hamidi say in the video
At the beginning of the video he said, ‘If you are watching this, I am no longer in this world.’ He told that he is making this video so that the world’s attention is drawn towards the alleged oppression in Iran. She said that during the recent protests, the Iranian government cracked down heavily on people and a large number of people were killed.
He said, ‘More than 40 thousand people were killed or murdered. This is more than Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine. However, ABP News is not confirming the authenticity of this video and Hamidi’s death.
Direct appeal to Trump and America
In the video, Hamidi, speaking directly to US President Donald Trump, said that any agreement with the Iranian government would be a betrayal of those who have been killed. He said, ‘Please, I beg you, do whatever you can to stop this deal.’
She also said that Trump had earlier told the people of Iran to keep protesting and they did so because he had confidence in him. But he said that it is not possible for common people to fight armed people and the people of Iran cannot defeat this government alone.
‘America’s attack is the last hope’
Hamidi said in the video that only America’s intervention can save the common people of Iran. He said, ‘America’s attack on Iran is our last hope. We cannot fight this government alone. Our people need help from outside.
In the video, he criticized Iran’s religious leadership and supported Prince Reza Pahlavi, who is living outside the country. He described them as ‘the best option to form a temporary government’. He also said that there are many opposition groups outside Iran and appealed to them to stop fighting among themselves and come together.
‘Our people are very disappointed’
Hamidi said that the people of Iran are very disappointed at this time and America’s attack is their last hope. He said, ‘You don’t know how helpless our people are right now. I myself am neither able to eat properly nor sleep. I am not even able to cry, because it is very sad to be born here and live without a future. But I was hopeful that after all this the future of the people of my country would change.
Message from the people of Iran at the end of the video
Hamidi said that he wants to give some meaning to his life through this video and wants the people of Iran to support each other. At the end of the video he said in Persian, ‘We the people of Iran are very lonely and we have no one, so support each other. Long live Iran. According to Iran International, he committed suicide some time after releasing the video, although this has not yet been separately confirmed.
Protests and strict action in Iran
This matter has come to light at a time when the government of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has strictly suppressed major protests across the country. There was massive violence during these demonstrations and thousands of people were killed. According to a Reuters report, at least 5,000 people have died in this action.
