What was the whole matter?
The incident happened during the innings of West Indies batsman John Campbell. A fast ball from Bumrah landed directly on Campbell’s pad in front of the stump. Bumrah was sure that the batsman was out LBW, but the on-field umpire gave him not out.
The umpire suspected that the ball might have hit the inner edge of the bat, so he ruled in favor of the batsman. Dissatisfied with this decision, Bumrah and captain Shubman Gill immediately appealed to DRS.
