Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is in trouble. A doctor from Udaipur has accused him of fraud of Rs 30 crore. Bhupalpura police has reported that a case of fraud has been registered against Vikram and his wife Shwetambari Bhatt and eight more people. According to the complaint, he was lured into financing the films by promising a return of Rs 200 crore. However, the filmmaker has denied these allegations and said that the police is being misled.
According to the report of news agency PTI, Dr. Ajay Murdia has stated in his FIR that he was introduced to Vikram by a local man named Dinesh Kataria, whom he met through a music group, who claimed to have strong connections in Bollywood.

Ajay further told that he met Vikram in a studio in Mumbai in April 2024. The deal was that he would invest in Vikram’s films, including a biopic on his late wife, while Vikram would take care of the entire film making process. FIR In this, Dr. Ajay has also made Krishna Bhatt, daughter of Vikram and Shwetambari Bhatt, an accused. The matter is still under investigation. Ajay has told in his complaint that he had given some money to Vikram Bhatt’s company and had signed the contract of four films. But the production house did not work properly. The production of the film which had the highest budget never started.
Vikram Bhatt gave clarification
Vikram Bhatt has denied these allegations. While talking to news agency ANI, he said – He says that in the greed of Rs 200 crore, I did a scam of Rs 30 crore. If he has told this to the police, then he must have some documents, some paperwork. Otherwise, police don’t work like this. So, if it is so, then it is fake, it cannot be so. I FIR I read, he has written- ,They are not from this industry, and they do not know how the industry works, So, I want to ask if that is so, then why did he leave me and why did he start so many films.
