Vikram Sharma murder case: Shooter still absconding even after 36 hours, police investigating his whereabouts till Jamshedpur

More than 36 hours have passed since the broad daylight murder of Vikram Sharma in Dehradun, but the shooter is still out of the reach of the police. Despite raids from all sides and heavy deployment, the hands are still empty.

If sources are to be believed, immediately after the incident the accused had fled from Dehradun towards Haridwar. Now it is suspected that they have crossed the border of Uttarakhand. In view of this apprehension, the police has increased the vigil in the border areas manifold. Also, police of other states have been contacted and requested to remain on alert.

Raids from Doon to Jamshedpur
Raids are being conducted continuously in Dehradun and Haridwar within Uttarakhand. Police teams are investigating each possible hideout. But the matter is not limited to this only – police teams are active in Delhi and even in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Raids are being conducted simultaneously at many places.

Trying to catch technical clues

The police is now completely dependent on technical investigation. The location of the suspects’ mobile phones is being tracked, CCTV footage is being scrutinized and efforts are being made to add other technical evidence. Every small clue is being taken forward and moved forward.

According to newly appointed SSP of Dehradun, Pramendra Singh Dobal, the police have got some important clues. He says that soon the accused will be arrested and the entire matter will be revealed.
