VIP darshan of Khatu Shyam is not possible on New Year! Ban till January 5, there will be normal queue for all

VIP darshan has been stopped till January 5 due to huge crowd and security reasons at Khatu Shyam Temple located in Sikar district of Rajasthan. Due to the coincidence of New Year, Ekadashi and the five-day fair, more than 30 lakh devotees are likely to reach here in a week.

The administration, police and Shyam Mandir Committee have made extensive arrangements regarding crowd management, security and order, so that the darshan can be conducted smoothly and safely. Now all the devotees will have to have darshan of Baba Shyam by standing in designated queues like common devotees, so that the same system and discipline can be maintained.

Fair will run till 2nd January, VIP darshan closed till 5th

With the help of Hare, a five-day New Year fair has started in Baba Shyam’s city Khatudham, which will continue till January 2, due to which a large number of devotees are expected to come to the temple. Keeping this in mind, darshan arrangements have been made on the lines of Phalgun fair.

The temple administration has clarified that any kind of VIP facility will not be applicable. All devotees will have darshan under the same system. This will not only make crowd control easier, but will also prevent any kind of discrimination. Security agencies are continuously maintaining surveillance in the temple premises and surrounding areas.

Khatushyamji area declared no vehicle zone!

Detailed and controlled routes have been decided for the devotees coming on foot from Ringas. Devotees will reach the main gate of the temple via Ringas Road, Fair Diversion, Old Electricity Grid, Khatikan Mohalla, Hotel Khatushyamji Palace, Kairpura Tiraha, Charan Khet, Lakhdatar Maidan and Kumawat Agricultural Farm.

Here Baba Shyam will be given darshan after passing through 14 queues made in the 75 feet wide main fair ground. In view of the huge number of devotees, Khatushyamji area has been declared a no vehicle zone.

Baba Shyam’s court will be decorated with fragrant flowers on Ekadashi.

Special arrangements have also been made regarding parking arrangements. During the 5-day fair, vehicles coming from Ringas will be parked in 52 Bigha government parking, whose exit will be from Mandha Marg. Vehicles of devotees coming from Palsana or Jeenmata will be stopped near Sanwalpura Kisan Gaushala and entry will be made on foot from there.

Parking has been fixed near Shyam Pathshala for those coming from Danta Marg. According to Shyam Mandir Committee, Baba Shyam’s court will be decorated with fragrant flowers and artificial materials on Ekadashi on 30th December.
