Virat kohli: The Bengaluru police have taken action against cricketer Virat Kohli’s pub-restaurant. The police have registered a case against Kohli due to lack of no smoking zone in the One8 Commune Pub and Restaurant. However, no statement has been issued by the cricketer or restaurant in this case so far.

The Kabban Park Police of Bengaluru has taken action against a total of 5 times and restaurants during the special operation, including Virat Kohli -owned One8 Commune Pub and Restaurant. Police found that there is no smoking zone in this pub, so a case has been registered by taking automatic cognizance of the provisions of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA).

Action was taken on the pub on charges of breaking the rules

This is not the first time that any legal action has been taken against Kohli’s pub. In July last year, a case was registered against One8 Commune Pub and Restaurant. In July 2024, an FIR was lodged against the manager of One8 Commune Pub for violating the rules for closure. According to the FIR lodged at Kabban Park police station, the One 8 Commune Pub on Kasturba Road was open at 1:20 pm after the closure of July 6 and was serving the customers.

Restaurant branches in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune also

The patrolling police team had received a complaint that One 8 Commune Pub was open till late night. When the police team reached the pub at 1:20 pm, it was found that the pub is also serving the customers at that time, on the basis of which an FIR was registered. Virat Kohli owns One 8 Commune. Its branches are in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, Gurugram. In December 2023, this restaurant was opened in Bengaluru.
