India’s star footballer Sunil Chhetri has revealed that Virat Kohli shared his fitness test score with him. Virat gave a fitness test in London, while other players conducted a fitness test at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bangalore. Meanwhile, Sunil Chhetri has been very impressed by Virat’s fitness report, who has compared ‘King Kohli’ to veteran footballer Christiano Ronaldo (Cristiano Ronaldo Hindi).
Discussing the desipl podcast, Sunil Chhetri said that Virat Kohli had shared a fitness test score with him. Chhetri said that such a fitness level can inspire any sluggish person. Chhetri said, “A few days ago Kohli sent me a score of his fitness test. It is a very good thing to be in contact with such fit people.”
Kohli and Ronaldo ever …
Sunil Chhetri also said that there has been a similarity between Virat Kohli and Christiano Ronaldo that they are never satisfied with their achievements. He said, “I do not know Ronaldo personally. I have seen and tested them, I know Virat Kohli. I have got the equality in both of them that they have never got satisfaction from what both of them have achieved.” He also admitted that he wanted to go beyond the spirit of satisfaction like Virat and Ronaldo.
Looking at Sunil Chhetri’s career, he took retirement in June 2024, but in March 2025 he took a U-turn from retirement. He played matches for Team India in the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers. He has scored 95 goals in 155 matches played for India so far.
