There is no shortage of corrupt officials in Bihar. Vigilance team is taking action every day, but what the officials are, they are playing in crores. They are not taking the name of acceptance. The latest case is related to Virendra Narayan, an officer of the Education Department. He is the Deputy Director in the Education Department. On Thursday (September 11, 2025), the Vigilance team raided several of their locations in terms of disproportionate assets.
There is news of raids in Patna, Purnia and Muzaffarpur. It is said that Virendra Narayan is working in Tirhut division. They are accused of acquiring assets of more than three crore 76 lakh rupees. Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) has filed a case against them in its police station. The officer’s senses flew away from this raid in the morning.
No information was found in raids yet
During the raids being conducted in different districts, the information about what the team has received was not revealed till the news was written. After the raids, this information will be given by the Special Vigilance Unit. Virendra Narayan is in a big position in the education department, so there has been a stir after this raid. Now it has to be seen whether some information about the property comes out illegally.
Action was taken in Begusarai and Madhepura now
Let us know that on September 9, Vigilance team took action in Begusarai. Rajiv Kumar, the officer of Dandari Block, was arrested for taking a bribe of two lakh rupees. On the same day, there was also news from Madhepura that the Mitendra Mandal, the sub -inspector Mitendra Mandal, was arrested red handed taking 20 thousand bribes to Mathahi police camp in -charge of Mathahi police camp in the district. In such a situation, it is clear that action is being taken in the state continuously against corruption.
