Viruses change themselves with weighther: According to a new research by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, the viruses bring changes in a certain pattern according to the changes in the weather, time and its surroundings. The researcher researched 465 samples taken from the lakes of America for more than 20 years and reconduct 1.3 million virus genomes using machine learning, and concluded based on the information received from them.
How was the study done?
Scientists at the University of IIT Madras, University of Wisconsin-Medicon and Texas jointly conducted an international research, in which the virus was focused on the virus in freshwater lakes. In this research, scientists did research of 465 samples collected from Wisconsin’s lakes in a period of more than 20 years.
It is the longest DNA-based research on the virus in the natural environment on Earth. He analyzed all the DNAs present in the lakes samples with the technique called metagenomics and reconstructed 1.3 million virus genomes with the help of machine learning.
