On the occasion of Diwali, Vivek Oberoi organized a puja and celebration at his home, in which his close friend R. Madhavan attended with his wife. This meeting of both the families is much discussed on social media.
Vivek Oberoi is wearing a traditional green colored kurta-pajama, on which beautiful golden border work is visible. With this she has carried a white dupatta which is making her look even more graceful. Fans are liking this traditional avatar of Vivek very much.
His wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi is looking very elegant in a green colored saree. She completed her traditional style with minimal jewellery, open hair and simple makeup.
R. Madhavan wore a dark blue traditional kurta-pajama with light golden work on it. He performed the puja in his classic style.
Madhavan’s wife Sarita Birje was seen in a black and white lehenga. Her look was simple but very graceful. She completely completed her Indian look with minimal jewelery and bindi. Like Vivek and Priyanka, Madhavan and Sarita also carried the ethnic vibe beautifully on this occasion.
During the entire celebration, both the couples were seen praying, laughing and getting photos clicked. In the pictures, the decorated idol of Lord Ganesha and the light of lamps were making the atmosphere even more beautiful.
When fans saw these pictures, they gave interesting reactions on social media. Someone wrote- ‘Sathiya and Alaipayuthe together.’ Actually, Vivek Oberoi’s film ‘Saathiya’ (2002) is directed by R. It was the Hindi remake of Madhavan’s Tamil film ‘Alaipayuthey’ (2000). Both the films are considered romantic classics, and now after years, seeing both the stars celebrating Diwali together brought back old memories for the fans.
