Vodafone idea expands wifi calling to chhattisgarh and madhya Pradesh check if your phone is supported

Vodafone Idea (VI) has now started its Wi-Fi calling service in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this service was live in many circles like Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and UP. Now the company has also included these two new states in the supported list. This means that if the mobile network is weak in your home or office but Wi-Fi is present, you will be able to make clear calls, without any break or drop.

VI’s Wi-Fi calling service is available for both prepaid and postpaid users. There is no need for any special plan for this, but your smartphone and Wi-Fi network should support this feature. The user will just have to go to the phone’s settings and turn on the Wi-Fi calling option. Calling charge will remain the same that is on mobile network, no extra charge will be levied.

According to the company, this feature is useful especially for those users who have a problem of call quality inside buildings like home or office. VI says that users will now be able to make calls without relying on the network tower, which will improve real time communication.

Vodafone Idea launched its 5G service in Mumbai last month and now the company is going to expand its 5G service at the cricket stadium in 11 cities of India. The current IPL T20 league is being held in these cricket stadiums from March to May, in view of which the company has taken this step to ensure the users to ensure fast internet connectivity. The 5G service is now available at the Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.
