Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has given a very sharp and emotional statement against Russia on the occasion of Christmas. Zelensky did not take the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address, but his signal was completely clear. He said that today there is only one feeling in the mind of every Ukrainian and everyone has only one desire that the person who is responsible for this war and destruction should be eliminated.

Anger flares up over Russia’s Christmas attacks
This message from Zelensky comes after the Russian attacks in which ballistic missiles, Kinzhal hypersonic strikes and hundreds of Shahed drones were fired on Ukraine before Christmas. Three people died in these attacks and power supply came to a standstill in many cities. Zelensky said that Russia did not spare innocent people even on festive days.
Zelensky said – Ukraine does not want revenge, wants peace
The Ukrainian President also made it clear in his Christmas message that his country is not fighting only out of a sense of revenge. He said that Ukraine is struggling for peace, praying for peace and it fully deserves peace. He prayed to God for a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
20-point peace plan and proposal to withdraw troops from Donbass
In a statement to the media after the Christmas message, Zelensky also mentioned Ukraine’s 20-point peace plan. He said that if a way is found to end the war, Ukraine is ready to withdraw its forces from the eastern industrial region of Donbass. However, he clarified that this step is possible only if Russia also withdraws its forces from the same area, the entire area is declared a demilitarized zone and international peacekeeping forces are deployed there.
Russia’s strict conditions and Kyiv’s clear refusal
At present, Russia has not given any indication of retreating from the occupied areas. Russia controls most of Luhansk and large areas of Donetsk. Putin is demanding Ukraine to leave Donbass, but Kiev has completely rejected this condition.
