President Vladimir Putin announced a 3-day ceasefire on Saturday (19 April, 2025) amidst the Russia-Ukraine War. This decision has been taken by Putin regarding Easter on humanitarian grounds. After the announcement of Putin, now Ukraine’s answer has also come. In Ukraine’s capital Kiev, officials said that they do not believe in Putin. It also said that Russia had rejected the 30 -day peace proposal of America, while Kiev had given her consent on this proposal.
‘Our long history with Putin’
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andree Sibiha posted on X and said that unfortunately we have a long history with Putin. There is a big difference between their words and actions. Russia may agree on the proposal of a full and unconditional 30 -day ceasefire at any time, which has been under consideration since March.
