The war between Russia-Ukraine for three years has now reached a decisive turn. With this move of Russia, Jailonski said that the way all this was done, it does not seem to be serious efforts, but looks like a formality. He clearly said that he will sit on the table of talks only when Putin himself is present in front.
Angry about this, Jailonsky took such a step, which has caused the biggest loss to Russia so far. On Sunday (01 June 2025), Ukraine targeted Russia’s air locations and destroyed the 40 bombers plane on its land. Ukraine carried out this attack just a day before the meeting on ceasefire.
NATO countries met in Lithuania, Europe. In the meeting, Jailonski told the leaders of the Nats that Ukraine is ready to take any step to restore peace. Jailonsky said that many aircraft in Russia have been destroyed and they would be forced to come to the conversation table. He said that peace begins with ceasefire, if the return of children made, release of prisoners, which should happen.
After the attack on Russia, Gelnsky posted on X and said, “Very brilliant results. A result that Ukraine has achieved on its own. It was our longest distance operation, in which our people involved in the preparation for operation were taken out of the Russian area in time.” According to Ukraine’s security service, Russia lost $ 7 billion due to this operation and 34 percent of its air missile career fleet was destroyed.
