As Bihar Assembly elections 2025 are coming closer, political activities have intensified. The election campaign is at its peak from both the ruling NDA and the opposition Grand Alliance. Amidst rallies, meetings and social media campaigns, new data from the Vote Vibe survey has made this contest more interesting.

According to the latest survey, the voters of Bihar seem to be divided almost equally between two main camps. About 34.7% people said that they want to see the Grand Alliance in power, while 34.4% voters expressed confidence in the NDA. This slight difference shows that this time the battle will be completely tough, where every seat can play a decisive role.

The most interesting aspect of the survey was the performance of Prashant Kishor and his Jan Suraj Party. About 12% of the voters believed that this time Jan Suraj can also register victory in the state. This result shows that the politics of Bihar is now divided into three major poles, not two.

Interestingly, Prashant Kishore himself has refused to contest the elections, yet his popularity among the people remains intact. About 13% voters want to see him as the Chief Minister. Although the estimated vote share of the party is between 9 to 10 percent, which clearly shows that their identity has been established, but converting it into public support still remains a challenge.

When this question was asked in the survey whether the voters knew the election symbol of Jan Suraj Party, almost half the people said that they did not know it. Some people told that the symbol of the party is the school bag, but a large section is still unaware of it. This situation shows that the organizational expansion of the party is still in the initial stage.

Amitabh Tiwari, who released the survey, says that Prashant Kishore has a strong perception among the public, but it is difficult to convert that image into votes. According to him, in the last survey also there was a slight difference in the vote share of NDA and Grand Alliance, whereas Jan Suraj stood at around 10%.

Experts believe that if Jan Suraj Party maintains its vote percentage above 10% then it can play a decisive role in many seats.

In the Bihar assembly elections, Tejashwi Yadav is the face of the grand alliance, Nitish Kumar is in the fray with experience and image of governance, while Prashant Kishor is emerging as an alternative among the public. Because of this, this time the Bihar elections are moving beyond the traditional two-way fight and taking the form of a triangular struggle.

The Vote Vibe survey was conducted between 15 and 19 October 2025, in which the opinions of more than 10,000 people from all 38 districts of the state were included. This survey may not reveal the final result, but it is certain that this time the Bihar elections will be as close and unpredictable as has not been seen for a long time.
